Why are so many dogs and owners continuing to struggle and fail within a process that approaches a relationship problem as a learning based exercise ? Trainers are assuming that these superficial responses can be trusted as representing that the relationship is getting better even while the relationship for many of these dogs and owners isn’t getting better at all. The fact is that so many trainers are investing in this inherently flawed idea that for them it appears normal to blame the dog as the problem when the relationship doesn’t improve.
