Trainer Dale McCluskey has over 30 years experience training dogs with numerous awards, accomplishments and distinctions. Dale’s first Police K-9 “Reuben” achieved the honor of the youngest Police K-9 in Canada to make a street level narcotics find. Dale and Reuben received awards from CN Police (Operation Recoil) for tracking and capture of suspect and helping dismantle a multi Province Theft Operation involving Railway containers. Dale and Reuben assisted neighboring agencies and were deployed for Sackville, Amherst and Springhill Police Departments related to Break and Enters, Drugs, Armed Robberies and drug searches as well as contracted by Dorchester and Springhill Federal Prisons involving drug searches and escapees. Dale and Rueben also requested for services by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police when their dog was unavailable. Dale developed this original source Interaction based Method and System of Dog Training after auditing the dog and human relationship and dynamic. Dale has published numerous training guides including Beyond the Leash Guide, Mind and Body Connection Guide, Going to Ground – Police K-9 Guide, Mind and Body Kinetics Guide and Tracking through Pack Guide. Dale has been interviewed by CBC Canada and Fox News Orlando. Dale has been published by and is a current author for K-9 Cop Magazine.
